BALI ZOUK CONGRESS – TERMS & CONDITIONS & WAIVER

Welcome to Bali Zouk Congress 💃🕺 We're excited to have you join us.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all ticket purchases and attendance at Bali Zouk Congress (the "Event"), operated by Dance Loop (ABN 53 680 790 014) ("we", "us", "our").

By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Event, you confirm that you've read, understood, and agree to these Terms, including the No Refund Policy and Liability Waiver below.

1. Tickets & Transfers

We keep things simple:

• All tickets are personal but transferable
• You can transfer your ticket only with our approval
• You're responsible for finding your replacement attendee and passing on your ticket details

We just ask that you let us know the new attendee's details so we can keep everything organised and safe.

We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel any transfer at our sole discretion.

2. NO REFUND POLICY (IMPORTANT)

As a small, independently run event, we put a lot of care, planning, and upfront investment into creating this experience for you.

Because of this:

👉 All ticket sales are final and strictly non-refundable.

This applies no matter the reason, including:

• Change of mind or personal plans
• Illness or injury
• Travel delays or cancellations
• Visa or entry issues
• Personal emergencies
• Schedule conflicts
• Changes to instructors, facilitators, or programming

If you're unable to attend, your only option is to transfer your ticket in accordance with Section 1.

We really appreciate your understanding—this helps us commit fully to creating the event for everyone attending.

Exceptions

If there are any exceptions to this policy, they are:

• Entirely at our sole and absolute discretion, and
• Do not create any expectation, precedent, or right to a refund in the future

No Refunds in Specific Situations

Just to keep things clear, no refunds will be provided for:

• Partial attendance of the event
• Any unused portion of your ticket or event package
• Removal or refusal of entry if you breach these Terms or behave in a way that goes against our community guidelines

3. Event Changes & Cancellation

We always aim to deliver the event exactly as planned, but sometimes adjustments are needed due to logistics, weather, travel conditions, or operational requirements in Bali.

If needed, we reserve the right to:

• Adjust the daily schedule or event flow
• Replace or substitute instructors or facilitators
• Modify activities, locations, or accommodation arrangements where necessary

We'll always do our best to make any changes smooth and positive, and these updates do not automatically entitle you to a refund.

If the event is fully cancelled before it begins, we may, at our discretion:

• Offer a partial refund, or
• Offer a credit or transfer to a future event

We are not responsible for any additional costs you may have incurred, such as flights, insurance, visas, or other travel-related expenses.

4. Personal Responsibility & Waiver (Important)

Dance is a physical activity and involves some risk.

By attending, you acknowledge that:

• You may be physically active for extended periods
• There is a risk of injury (including slips, falls, or strain)
• You participate at your own risk

You agree that:

• You are physically and medically fit to participate
• You take full responsibility for your own wellbeing
• You will stop participating if you feel unwell or unsafe

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you:

• Release Dance Loop, its team, artists, contractors, and venues from liability
• Waive any claims for injury, loss, damage, or death arising from attendance or participation
• Accept responsibility for your own actions and choices at the Event

5. Liability

We do everything we can to create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable event experience. That said, by attending, you understand and agree that:

• You participate at your own risk
• We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
• We are not liable for injuries caused by other participants, third parties, or unforeseen circumstances

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your event ticket.

You also agree that you are responsible for any damage you cause during the event, and you will cover any associated costs.

6. Entry & Conduct

We want this to be a safe and respectful space for everyone.

You agree to:

• Behave respectfully toward others at all times
• Follow staff and venue instructions

We may refuse entry or remove anyone (without refund) if they:

• Are intoxicated or disruptive
• Behave aggressively, offensively, or unsafely
• Harass or make others uncomfortable
• Fail to follow Event rules

This is an 18+ event only.

7. Media & Photography

By attending, you agree that:

• You may appear in photos or videos taken at the Event
• These may be used for promotional or commercial purposes

You won't receive payment for this, and you waive the right to approve how images are used.

8. Privacy

We collect only what we need to run the Event (like your name and contact details).

We:

• Never sell your data
• Only use it for Event-related purposes
• Comply with applicable privacy laws

9. Travel & Insurance

You are responsible for:

• Your flights and travel arrangements
• Valid passport and visa requirements
• Travel insurance (strongly recommended)

We cannot take responsibility for issues like border entry refusal or travel disruptions.

10. Respect for Bali & Local Culture (Very Important)

We are incredibly grateful to host this Event in Bali.

By attending, you agree to:

• Respect Balinese culture, customs, traditions, and local laws
• Be mindful of appropriate dress and behavior in public and sacred spaces
• Treat local communities, staff, and venues with respect and gratitude

We reserve the right to remove any attendee (without refund) whose behaviour is disrespectful to local culture or community values.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

By purchasing a ticket and attending the Event, you agree that any disputes relating to these Terms, your ticket, or your attendance at the Event will be handled under the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

While the Event takes place in Bali, Indonesia, your ticket purchase agreement is made with us in Australia. We also operate in good faith in accordance with applicable international and local standards where the Event is delivered.

12. General

• If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest still applies
• These Terms represent the full agreement between us
• Purchasing a ticket confirms acceptance of everything above
